At ReGen we take complaints and appeals seriously and commit to ensure that they are addressed efficiently and effectively. The principles of natural justice and procedural fairness will be applied at every stage of the complaint and appeals process. ReGen will regularly update the complainant or appellant on the progress of the matter.
An appeal refers to a formal written request:
- for reconsideration of a decision made by the RTO and that is submitted to a person or body with authority to undertake that reconsideration within or on behalf of the RTO
A complaint refers to an issue made or lodged by a student in relation to:
- any matter in the control of the RTO that affects the student in his/her capacity as a student
- a decision made by the RTO or any person that affects the student in his/her capacity as a student
