Big thanks to everyone who came along and supported Regrowth '07!
A massive 6,000 trees were planted and a great time was had by all.
Regrowth '07, the 3rd installment of Regen's annual tree planting festivals, was held over 3 days from friday 13th to sunday 15th april 2007.
The festival was situated in the Southern highlands of New South Wales on a site that overlooks the Moreton National Park and included 5 stages of eclectic music, an outdoor cinema, healing area, various workshops and market stalls.
Each stage hosted its own style of music and particular vibe...
Regen stage ----Psy-trance and progressive dance music as well as chill and world music. International, interstate and local dj's and live acts.
Jollywood -----Bands+dj's (everything from live d'n'b to funk and folk rock)
Bodega ------- electro dj's and live electronica
Dub R I ------ Dub and reggae dj's and bands
Elixir ------Psy-chill dj's
The tree planting began on Saturday continuing on Sunday and featuring a presentation by Peter Andrews. Six thousand native trees were planted and various workshops on environmental issues were held throughout the weekend.
Food for the festival was mainly supplied by the Kundlicious kitchen and had a completely vegetarian menu, demonstrating the organisers commitment to a green festival.
