River Recovery National Program 21st - 26th May 2006
In collaboration with Australia’s peak landcare body, Greening Australia, and through the initiative of Green Corps, REGEN was responsible for event organising the housing, nourishment and entertainment for over 120 participants in this five day event whose outcome was the revegetation of 37, 000 native plants.
The improvement of health to the Hawkesbury-Nepean catchment associated with these works were assisted on-ground by a range of corporate organisations and backed by the National Landcare Program and the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
The event was an amazing success with all participants braving the weather for five days and having a great time in the process.
