ReGen has designed a practical hands-on training program informed by the development and learnings from our Catalyst and Torque non-residential rehabilitation programs. This comprehensive training program is designed based on an extensive review of the AOD literature and provides a level of adaptability and flexibility that meets the needs of different target groups and communities.
The range of training and workforce development packages included within the program are designed to support the establishment of new Community Therapeutic Day Programs around the state. The core training modules will cover the delivery of therapuetic groups and other advanced clinical interventions, based on ReGen's Catalyst and Torque programs.
The three packages include:
- Baseline package - Seven day training program (aligned with competency units on group work and therapeutic interventions) providing workers with the opportunity to become practiced and skilled facilitators in the delivery of the Catalyst materials.
- Accredited package - Baseline package plus onsite observation and assessment for accredited units of competency.
- Accredited and guided support package - Accredited package plus supervision for Team Leaders of new therapeutic day programs.
See the training brochure for more information about the packages and the ReGen staff who will be providing them.
