Support. Don't Punish - campaign event (27 June)

Thanks to everyone who participated in the event. The Powerpoint slides from Paul's presentation are now available on SlideShare. Photos of some of the advocacy messages coming out of our discussion are available via our Facebook page or Instagram account.

Can you join us to show your support for changes to global drug policy?SDP Eng Hi Res RGB1

The Support. Don’t Punish campaign seeks to build international support for drug policies based on health and human rights, not the failed ‘war on drugs’.

ReGen’s campaign event will have two main purposes:
1. To show support for (and raise awareness of) the need for change to local, national and global drug policies; &
2. To gather consumer input into the development of ReGen’s next position statement on Drug Law Reform.

We'll be producing advocacy messages and photos on the day to contribute to the Support. Don't Punish photo project and producing a summary of key ideas discussed to support the development of our Drug Law Reform position statement.

Event details:

Where: Our Coburg site (26 Jessie St, Coburg)
When: Monday 27 June (3-4pm)
Why: Because we want to hear your ideas (and because there will be afternoon tea)
RSVP: Contact Paul (, 9384 8867)

If you would like to contribute to the discussion (or just listen), we’d love to see you on the day.

You can see our current range of position statements on key AOD issues on our advocacy page.

If you can’t make it, you can find out more about the Support. Don’t Punish campaign or send us your ideas about what position we should take on Drug Law Reform by email, Twitter or Facebook.

Alternatively, there is another event organised by a range of service providers and drug policy advocates in Footscray on Saturday. See the event flyer for details.
