InFocus Education Program

Going round and round in circles, overwhelmed by the chaos in your life?

Family Drug Help runs a six week educational course to provide you with knowledge and skills to better understand the complexities of addiction. It explores ways of improving your relationships, offers simple strategies for coping with anxiety and depression and helps you plan a positive future.

The program used to be known as ARC (Action for Recovery Course), but has been renamed InFocus.

Participating in this group can have a powerful impact on family members' lives.  The following quote from a group member gives a good indication of the challenges and benefits for family members:

Twelve months ago I was living in chaos, a totally out of control environment and didn't know what the hell was going on in my life or what was happening with my daughter, my life turned upside down.

When I discovered the problem, it hit me like a sledge hammer.

I researched the information I needed plus resources, services, supports and the ARC program, I reflect now and find I'm much more at peace with myself and can separate my life and that of my daughter. It's still difficult but I'm stronger and maintaining balance in my life...So thank you to SHARC & ReGen. I think so highly of the staff and organizations. I found the gift of hope that everyone shares so freely.
