Tailored to the Community

"We believe that simple effective interventions can make a difference and save lives"
Uniting ReGen has been promoting this workshop to Health Care Professionals since May 2013 and as of June 2018 we have been given the opportunity to offer this free training to community workers and members. It is not essential to have any clinical or previous mental health training in order to attend the course.
We offer full-day (6 Hour) and half-day (4 Hour) workshops in Victoria and Tasmania. These allow attendees to learn how to recognize risk factors and warning signs associated with people experiencing thoughts of suicide. The course provides information on the most current methodology pertaining to suicide in Australia, along with teaching participants an easy to use intervention strategy.
